My why
My path has taken me from the ballet barre to musical theatre stages, to becoming a coach and a speaker on performance anxiety. For years, perfectionism and the fear of failure kept me from moving forward and seeing my dreams clearly.
An eating disorder and anxiety slowly began to ease when pedagogy entered my life. During my dance teacher training, I rebuilt myself and started to recognize my strengths.
With trembling courage, I stepped toward my fears and the unknown, took on singing, and eventually stood on musical stages. Yet perfectionism still followed me, and during auditions, performance anxiety showed up as panic.
Motherhood became a turning point. I decided to stop making myself smaller and face the real roots of my performance anxiety. What I discovered behind the nerves was my deep desire to share this journey with others.
I’ve found a new kind of appreciation for my body and mind, and it has taken me to a deeper level as a performer. I can hardly believe that just a year ago I was still trembling in front of people. Now I dare to use my voice and I want the same for you.
